Abstract

Meningiomas in the lateral ventricles are rare tumors. They account for about 1 to 2% of all intracranial meningiomas One case of meningioma in the right lateral ventricle is reported.
A 57-year-old woman was admitted with headache for the last 10 months. Brain CT, MRI and angiography were performed The tumor was totally removed via the transcortical approach through the middle temporal gyrus. After surgery, a visual field
defect
was
improved in the postoperative visual field. The authors authors reviewed the literatures and discussed this rare case.
